Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Postgraduate (PG) Degree in the relevant specialty. DNB, DNB Super Specialty, and equivalent PG qualifications recognized under MCI/NMC guidelines are also eligible. If sufficient PG degree holders are unavailable, candidates with a relevant Diploma may be considered, but they will be placed below PG degree holders in the merit list.
- For Senior Resident / Tutor posts, the seats are distributed among the following categories:
- 40% for candidates belonging to the Bihar State Health Service cadre.
- 40% for doctors who completed their PG under the residency scheme at medical colleges in Bihar.
- 20% for doctors holding PG degrees from recognized institutions outside Bihar.
